Hello and thank you for visiting Carter’s Plumbing & Rooter. 

I am George Carter Jr.  Owner/Contractor and proud to have been serving Redondo Beach, South Bay & Los Angeles communities since 2005. I specialize in Service and Repair for Residential and Commercial buildings. I’m a one man show with 15+ years of experience in the trade.

Born and raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Attended college at UMass Dartmouth.  I started off as an apprentice for my Uncle, worked for him for several years and eventually decided to move to California in 2001.  Here I worked for several  Plumbing franchises as a Service and Repair Plumbing Technician.  This gave me an opportunity to learn the California plumbing code as well as the Greater L.A. & surrounding areas that I was servicing.  It was a good experience, however, I was paid by commission.  And as many of you may know, “you’re only as good as your last sale”.

The driving force behind establishing my own company, was the relationship between Customer & Contractor.
It has been my experience that relationships often get lost in Big Business America.
My skills & training were often masked out of respect for my superiors or restricted due to brand management. I felt working under another plumber’s license as a technician reduced me to performing what the work order was written for & prevented me from educating the customer as to what they actually needed.
Now out here with my own Company, I pride myself in Honest Assessment, High Work Ethic, Reliability & Competent Skill. I strive to provide you with a good working relationship with someone who cares about your Safety, the safety of your Family & the Integrity of your Investment.
